(She/Her) Anamarija Vuic, MA, MPsych, CAT-LP, is a licensed psychologist in Croatia and a Creative Arts Therapy Limited Permit holder in New York. She has over 10 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults across private practice, hospital, and community settings. Her approach is grounded in the belief that through a strong therapeutic relationship, clients can work through challenges and develop practical skills to improve their overall quality of life.
Anamarija has a deep interest in the complexities of identity and belonging. She often works with immigrants, first-generation individuals, artists, and LGBTQ+ clients, offering support through life transitions, cultural adjustment, and the nuanced challenges of navigating multiple worlds. Her therapeutic approach addresses the effects of trauma, intergenerational patterns, and broader social and political stressors. Anamarija holds a master’s degree in Drama Therapy from New York University (2025), a master’s degree in Psychology from the University of Zagreb (2015) and has completed postgraduate trainings in Gestalt therapy, crisis intervention and working with trauma.
In addition to her clinical work, Anamarija is an experienced educator and researcher. She has consulted for organizations such as UNICEF and Child Helpline International, presented at conferences and school assemblies, guest lectured at universities and counseling training programs, and has been featured as an expert in the media. Anamarija offers therapy in English, Croatian, Serbian, and Bosnian, and also speaks Spanish.
