Georgie Landy, LCAT, ATR-BC, is a licensed and board certified creative arts therapist with a masters degree in Art Therapy from New York University. Her broad training in trauma informed care, unhealthy attachment styles, and goal oriented expressive therapies influence her individually tailored approach.

As an artist herself, Georgie believes in the power of creativity as a catalyst for transformation. In facilitating a safe space to explore individual and family challenges, Georgie combines verbal and visual modalities to uncover the multidimensional layers of the self and guide clients to develop effective coping skills.

Georgie works with individuals of all ages and backgrounds, including adults, children, adolescents, and couples. She has worked with a variety of populations including young men impacted by addiction and incarceration, survivors of sexual abuse, in-patient psychiatric patients, and individuals struggling with sex and love addiction. Her New York City hospital affiliations include Elmhurst, Maimonides, and Bellevue.

In addition to her clinical practice, Georgie has presented at local professional conferences such as The Arts and Social Work at New York University, where she was invited as a keynote speaker by the Dean of the School of Social Work, as well at international conferences at the Shanghai Theater Academy in China and the International School in Ghana.
